The Company
netLogex is a Colorado limited liability company with offices in Boulder, Colorado. The company operates as a partnership - the principle partners form the core of the enterprise. Through a network of other companies with whom NetLogex works, and independent contractors, NetLogex can assemble a project team to handle the most complex XML projects.
Partner Profiles
Robert C. Kerr
Robert has extensive experience in the area of electronic publication, knowledge management and the technologies associated with these disciplines.
Prior to joining NetLogex, Robert was involved with entrepreneurial enterprises as both an attorney and as a manager. He served as the President and CEO of The Alexandria Institute, a non-profit organization which facilitated the development of electronic libraries, Vice President of Selsys Corporation, a start-up incubator that spawned several successful businesses, Director of Program Management for Quest Computer Systems, a company that developed and licensed laptop computer technology, Director of Engineering and Product Management for Anatel Corporation, responsible for the design, development and production of ultra-pure water monitoring equipment, and Vice President of Operations for VisionTEK, Inc., responsible for operation of a software development enterprise targeted at the public safety marketplace.
Robert has a unique skill set that bridges the disciplines of law, management and product development. His most recent interests have drawn him to the Internet and the emerging application of extensible markup language (XML) and its related technologies, especially in the area of electronic publications. He has worked on electronic publishing projects for Elsevier Science and the Public Utilities Commission of Colorado.

John H. Nairn
John brings extensive software development and management skills to NetLogex.
John's employment history includes fourteen years with Hewlett-Packard Co., as a software development engineer, and later as an engineering lab manager. He developed numerous software programs in mathematical calculation, business programs, electronic instrument control, and artificial intelligence. He managed groups that developed various languages and operating systems, including HP-UX (Hewlett-Packard's implementation of the UNIX operating system for HP computers). Four of his 14 years at HP were in various marketing functions including product management and market development.
Prior to joining NetLogex, John served as Vice President of Research & Development for several companies including Imagen, Inc., a maker of high-performance printers for desktop publishing systems, Reference Technology, Inc., one of the pioneers in the CD-ROM industry, and VisionTek, Inc., a maker of mobile information systems software for the law enforcement and related industries.
John is skilled in several computer languages and operating systems, as well as in the technologies related to Internet web-site development and maintenance. He is currently working with technologies like XML, BizTalk, and SOAP.
